This antique William IV rosewood chaise lounge is a very strong looking piece of furniture & is wonderful quality. The rosewood frame is beautifully shaped & well carved in many places. The legs have that typical William IV tulip design & original brass capped casters. It's in excellent condition & structurally sound. The frame has been French polished & the old upholstery completely ripped out. So, it's been totally re-upholstered with double piping on the edges & had a bolster added too. The long cushion has all been re-upholstered too with a generous filling. This chaise dates from the 1830-40's period.
