A superb antique William IV open bookcase in Rosewood. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1830-40 period.
It is of amazing quality & a good size, the Rosewood has a gorgeous colour and stunning grain patterns. This sits on a plinth base and has a beautiful original pierced brass gallery around the cross banded top.
We have had this recently re-polished, the condition is excellent for its age. There are various very small marks and indentations here and there beneath the polish, commensurate for age and adding to the lovely patina.
