An incredibly beautiful and very large antique French gilt wood over mantle mirror. This was made in France, it dates from around the 1880-1900 period.

The quality is amazing, this has absolutely stunning details and it is a very impressive size.

This has a gorgeous overall patina, with just the right amount of wear and no major damage. The gilding has age related rubbing and some very small chips here and there. The top is extremely slightly bowed as seen in the images, this is absolutely imperceptible when mounted, but must be mentioned for full disclosure.
