This pair of antique Swedish armchairs have an amazing shape & very generous proportions. Take an enlarged look at all the images, especially the stunning carving, which is very fine quality. The wood has a good patina & I’m not sure if it’s Satin Birch or mahogany. They are in excellent condition, very comfortable & have just been re-upholstered. Hard to date exactly, but I should think they are from the 1880-90’s period, although they could be older. To be honest, I’ve never seen a model like these before. These chairs look great from all angles.
