A fantastic pair of antique Edwardian inlaid mahogany armchairs. They were made in England, they date from the 1900-1910 period.
They are of extremely fine quality, with a beautifully elegant and shapely design. The solid mahogany frames have gorgeous inlaid satin wood banding along all the edges, the tapered legs sit on brass casters.
We have had the frames retored and re-polished, they have also been re-upholstered in a cream cotton fabric. Much of the original horse hair stuffing has been preserved and kept. They are in excellent condition, with just some extremely minor historical wear to be seen on the frames.
