A stunning pair of original antique French carved gilt wood side chairs, dating from around the 1890-1900 period.

The quality is superb, they are beautifully made and have a gorgeous design. The backs have an interesting heart shape, there is lovely crisp carving throughout the frames.

We have cleaned the frames gently, they have acquired a wonderful patina with just the right amount of surface wear. We have also just has these completely re-upholstered in a cream cotton fabric.
