Very stylish pair of antique Swedish upholstered armchairs with satin birch frames. They are in immaculate condition, having just been French polished & re-upholstered. The seats are fully coil sprung & these chairs are very comfortable. I would date them to around the 1910 period. The satin birch frames are beautifully figured & have a lovely mellow colour. The wood on the arms is wide & curved, while the rest of the frames are bold too. The backs are curved & they have splayed legs.
