This set of four antique Chippendale style mahogany dining chairs are actually part of a larger set of six, because there are two armchairs to match. These can be viewed while they are still available also on this site. All the chairs are fine quality, with excellent carving on the backs & on the tops of the legs. The backs central splats have a great design & the front feet too have an interesting shape. These chairs are in good condition having just been polished & re-upholstered on the seats. I would date them to around the 1890's period.
