A fantastic set of eight solid mahogany shield back dining chairs in the antique Georgian style. These were made in England, they date from around the 1930’s.

They are of superb quality, with fabulous carving depicting Prince of Wales feathers. They have stretchered bases and spade feet. They are sturdy and supportive, with removable drop in seats. There are six straight back side chairs and two matching carver armchairs.

We have had these re-polished, the condition is excellent for their age with minor age related wear to be seen under the polish here and there. We have had the drop in seats re-upholstered in our cream cotton fabric.
