A wonderful set of four antique Georgian Lancashire dining chairs in Elm. They were made in England, they date from around the 1820-1830 period.
The quality is superb, the chairs are beautifully crafted with nicely turned spindles on the backs and stretcher bases. They have lovely woven rush seats and look great from all angles.
The condition is excellent for their age, they have been gently revived and the wood has a gorgeous patina, with no damage or repairs to the frames. The rush seats are also in great condition for their age, with only some minor wear here and there.
