A stunning set of six antique French walnut cane back dining chairs. They were made in France, they date from around the 1890-1900 period.

The quality is superb, the oval shaped backs have lovely cane work. The chairs are solid walnut, with gorgeous burr walnut veneers around the backs and seat edges. There are also lovely brass accents on the seat edges and the feet have brass caps.

We have had them recently re-polished, the seats have also been re-upholstered in a cream cotton fabric. The condition is excellent for their age, with only some minor wear remaining here and there beneath the polish.
