A beautiful sweeping Thonet armchair, made from ebonised bentwood. This was originally designed in the 1860’s, and this model that we have was made in the 1960’s in Poland. It was made in the former Thonet factory using genuine Thonet machinery.

It is a gorgeous and iconic design, this has a beautifully upholstered seat covered in a yellow/ gold velvet.

It is in excellent overall condition, with only some extremely minor surface wear to the frame. It is clean, sturdy and sound, with no damage to the cane and no marks on the upholstery.

This would actually be quite suitable for use as a desk chair
