This antique gilt wood coffee table is very fine quality & is in good condition with a wonderful original look. I believe it’s French or Italian, dating to around the 1910 period. The leather looks original & has beautiful gold tooling. It is worn & marked, but I wouldn’t want to re-leather because it has a great original look. The gilt wood frame is finely carved all over with partitioning between the leather panels & well shaped cabriole legs. The gilt work is also naturally aged & has plenty of character, just like the leather panels.
