A wonderful original George III period tea or card table in mahogany. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1790-1810 period.

The quality is excellent, this has a minimalist and elegant design. The bow fronted top has a reeded edge and sits on tapered legs. The back legs open out on hinges and the top unfold to double in size and provide a generous eating or playing surface. This makes a lovely console / side table when not in use.

We have recently had this re-polished, it is in very good condition for its age. There are various small marks and indentations beneath the polish, commensurate for age and adding lots character.
