An excellent antique Victorian mahogany drop leaf dining table. This was made in England, it dates from around 1890’s period.
The quality is fantastic, this is solid mahogany throughout and is very well built. It opens out into a useful size, and when not in use folds away nicely. This sits on strong cabriole legs that terminate in claw and ball feet.
This has a beautiful overall colour and rich patina. We have had it re-polished and it is in lovely condition for its age. It is sturdy and strong, there are various small old marks and bumps under the polish, giving this plenty of character.
It can be used either fully open or just with one leaf up, it would sit nicely against a flat wall when half open.
