A lovely original antique Victorian solid mahogany circular tilt top dining table. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1840-1850’s period.
The quality is excellent and this is a very useful size, seating 6 people. It also has a very heavy & strong construction. The top tilts up to save space when not in use, and can unbolt and detach for ease of transport.
The tripod base has bold and intricate carving, it sits on original brass casters. The circular top has a beautifully shaped frieze all around the lower edge, which gives another lovely aspect to the design.
We have recently had this re-polished, it is in excellent condition for its age. There are various small marks and bumps beneath the polish here and there, commensurate for age and adding to the wonderful patina.
