A fantastic original William IV period drop leaf table in solid mahogany. This was made in England, it dates from around 1830-1840 period.
The quality is absolutely amazing, it sits on a superb central column with a wide platform base, and finely carved hairy paw feet on original brass casters. The drop leaf top is solid mahogany, and even the supports that unfold to support it are beautifully carved from solid mahogany. There is a deep single drawer on one end, and a dummy drawer front on the opposite side. It is a great size to be used as a dining / kitchen table or even as an impressive centre table in an entry way.
We have had this re-polished, it is in very good condition for its age. There are various small marks and indentations here and there, all part of the character and patina.
