A beautiful antique coffee table with a fine quality solid brass frame and onyx top. This was made in France, it dates from the 1930-50’s.

It is very well made, the brass frame has a gorgeous shape and very fine details. The onyx top is quite spectacular, it is made from a patchwork of beautifully coloured onyx pieces, set in a clear resin. In between the gaps of the onyx pieces are lots of very small onyx pieces, in the clear resin they look as if they are underwater.

This is in superb overall condition for its age, with hardly any wear to be seen.
