A wonderful original Georgian period tea table in mahogany. This was made in England, and I would date it from around 1810-1820’s period.
The quality is superb, this has very useful and versatile design. It is perfect for use as a console table around the home. It rolls on original brass casters and has a reeded edged top that unfolds to double in size and supports on two hinged gate legs at the back. The interior table surface is polished mahogany so this is known as a tea table, but it can also be used as a card table.
We have had this re-polished to a very high standard, the condition is fantastic for its age. There is just some minor surface wear and small marks beneath the polish here and there, with a gorgeous overall patina.
