A fantastic antique side table in a beautifully rich flame mahogany. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1900-1910 period.
It is of amazing quality with generous proportions and a good amount of storage space inside the two deep drawers, which are finely dovetailed. This sits on tapered legs terminating in spade feet, and has a serpentine shaped front. The top and drawer fronts are cross banded in a lighter wood, probably satinwood, and this has original well defined brass lions head ring pull handles.
This table is in very good original condition, we have just given it a light clean and wax polish. There are various very small marks here and there under the polish, commensurate for age and adding to the patina.
