A lovely and unusual small proportioned mahogany French style side table, dating from the 1920-30’s.

It is an unusual size, quite low, though it’s designed to look like a console table, it is actually only a little bigger than a coffee table. It could be used as a console or an end table next to a sofa or armchair. It is nicely finished on all sides, so can be used in the centre of a room. There is a brass rim around the top edge, with gilt bronze mounts & feet.

The condition is excellent for its age, with only some extremely minor wear here and there.
