Antique George II mahogany tea table dating from around the 1750’s & in very good original condition & with a wonderful colour.
Originally, these tables were generally put out of the way & brought out to serve tea on, hence the name.
This table has nice small proportions, a working original lock & a very useful storage compartment. The back legs swing out to support the top when open & the original hinges are iron. This tea table which is a really nice example, is free from warps, splits, or woodworm.
