A lovely and extremely unusual antique side table made from mahogany and satin wood inlay. This is in the Sheraton style, we are not quite sure if it is Edwardian (c.1900) or Georgian Period (c.1800). It is hard to tell as it is quite a unique piece, that has been very well kept over the years.
It is quite small and has a demi lune shape, to be used against a wall as a console/side table. The back two legs swing out on hinges and the top opens out to a circular shape, like a tea table only slightly smaller. The top then flips open again, to reveal a cavity for storage, still lined in the original blue silk fabric, which is a little worn as seen in the images.
The overall condition is excellent, with a nice wax polish and some minor wear here and there.
