A fantastic antique Victorian chess table in walnut. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1860-1880’s period.

It is beautifully made, the top has an inlaid chessboard made from sycamore and mahogany, the other edges are burr walnut. This sits on a solid walnut barley twist base that rests on carved walnut tripod legs. The quality is amazing and this is a very practical and fun item.

We have had this recently re-polished, the condition is excellent for its age.
