A beautiful antique Georgian period inlaid mahogany card table, made in England, and dating from around the 1790-1820 period.

It has a stunning design, the top is cross banded with rosewood, then there are inlaid borders of at least four other woods. It is a great size and has a useful design, when closed it makes a perfect console table. The back legs are hinged, they open out and the top unfolds to reveal a green baize playing surface.

This is in lovely condition for its age, we have had the wood re-polished and the playing surface has brand new baize.
