A set of smart, useful and beautifully made antique mahogany library steps. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1840-60 period.

This originally had a duel purpose as library steps and also as a night stand commode, now it just functions as library steps and it would also be useful as an occasional side table. The quality is excellent, this has lovely flame mahogany grain patterns, inset tooled leather surfaces and a storage compartment in the top.

We have had this revived and re-polished, the condition is excellent for its age.
