A wonderful antique William IV period side table in rosewood, dating from around the 1830-1840’s.
It is beautifully made and is a useful size. The single drawer has the original brass handles, the top sits on a tapered octagonal column which in turn sits on a tripod platform base. The colour and rosewood grain patterns are lovely, this is nicely polished on the back as well, so can be used as a free standing item.
We have had this recently re-polished, it is in very good condition for its age, with some minor old wear and patina visible beneath the polish here and there.
