A beautiful and quite unusual pair of antique side tables. They were made in England, and I would date them from around the 1910 period.
They are extremely well made and are predominantly light oak, with contrasting walnut cross banding around the edges. Each has a single drawer with brass lion head handles, sitting on a baluster column, which sits on a splayed platform base. The backs are also nicely polished, so they can be used as free standing items.
We have had these recently re-polished, the condition is excellent for their age.
