Marylebone Antiques strive to offer items which have compelling individuality as well as being visually pleasing.
Marylebone Antiques is a family owned business run by Stuart Shuster, who has acquired many years of experience and knowledge in the Antique furniture business.
Based in Church Street, London’s famous Marylebone antiques district for three decades, Marylebone Antiques are specialists in English, French & Swedish antique furniture dating from 1790-1970. Until recently, we only dealt in items up to the 1930’s period, but now this has changed. The shop has been completely refurbished & brought into the 21st century. It is now an interesting mix of antique, art deco, 50’s 60’s & 70’s furniture, plus many decorative items.
The shop is basically a showroom for our two websites: www.maryleboneantiques.co.uk & www.retrospectiveinteriors.com. Please be aware that the majority of the stock on either website will be in our new large warehouse, at Elstree WD6 3AD. Please identify which items you wish to view & if they are in the warehouse, they can be viewed by appointments on most days. A lot of people like to come on Sundays.

When we describe items as being newly re-upholstered, this is done within accordance of The Furniture and Furnishings (Fire) (Safety) Regulations Act of 1988. Some items are sold in their original state and may not fall within those regulations, if not being re-upholstered these items must be used for commercial use or export only.
Marylebone Antiques has built a trusted reputation in being able to source and supply quality 19th Century Antiques and Mid-Century Furniture. Take a look at our extensive list of latest finds and sold items and if there is something there that is not currently available for sale, we can probably source it for you.
Payment and Shipping Costs
We also ship worldwide and all our items are sold as described and shipped fully insured. We ensure that all items are correctly packed and sealed for safety during transit using only reputable shipping companies.
We also can obtain very reasonable rates for UK deliveries. For example, an average sized chest of drawers can be delivered anywhere in England for an average price of £60.
We can accept payment via cash, personal cheque, bankers draft (pounds sterling only), credit and debit cards (through our merchant account).
