Antique Satinwood Inlaid Mahogany Linen Press£1,450.00 + VAT
This antique linen press is extremely fine quality & in good original condition. Dating from the 1890's period, it has many fine features. The satinwood inlays are all over the front, which is also flame mahogany. There's a brass beading between the top cupboards & the drawers have the original brass handles, plus locks. Inside the two cupboards are three sliding trays. The drawers in the base are finely dovetailed & all work well. I particularly like the curved middle section above the drawer section which the cupboard sits inside of. This linen press has a good original look, with natural fade in places & also has a very stylish design. It separates into three sections – cornice, top cupboards & the drawer section.

Antique Edwardian Inlaid Mahogany Linen Press
This antique Edwardian linen press has lovely slim proportions, which is a hard thing to find with these modals & is in excellent condition. It’s mahogany with some fine satinwood inlays & other nice features. The two top doors have flame mahogany oval panels & there is a brass strip that runs between the doors. The drawers are finely dovetailed & have the original brass handles, plus locks. There are three shelves in the top section, which my restorer made to make it a more practicable piece of furniture. As you can see in the images there was a slide out contraption for hangers, which wasn’t that useful. This linen press dates from around the 1900-10 period & was sold originally by Maples & Co. The original label is still there showing. This piece comes apart into two sections for easy transportation.

Antique George III Mahogany Linen Press
This is a really nice example of an early 19th century mahogany linen press & it has small proportions. It has a lovely rich colour & is in excellent condition. The top two cupboards have flame mahogany panels with a brass trim between the doors. Inside the cupboard are the original sliding trays. The bottom section has two over two drawers, with original turned handles & locks on the drawers. The top cornice has a flame mahogany surround & the drawer section sits on turned mahogany feet. I would date this linen press to around the 1820 period. It also comes apart into three sections, top cornice, cupboard section & drawer section.
