Pair of Antique Georgian Style Leather Wing Back Armchairs
Impressive pair of leather wing armchairs in distressed brown leather, in an antique Georgian style, which I would date to around the 1930’s period. They have many nice features, including shaped hump backs and well shaped wings. The backs are deep buttoned & they are hand studded all over. These armchairs which have very generous proportions, are very comfortable & are in good original condition with feather filled cushions. The leather itself has been polished, but we have tried to retain the beautiful character of these chairs & I must say they have a wonderful original colour. There are no splits, holes or tears in the leather & they sit on shaped legs.

Pair of Antique French Gilt Wood Salon Armchairs
Pair of antique French gilt wood salon armchairs in good original naturally distressed condition. The gilding is worn in all the right places, which I think really adds to the overall character. They are structurally sound & have just been re-upholstered in a cream strong fabric. These armchairs are finely carved all over & sit on grooved turned legs. Pair of Antique Swedish Leather Club Armchairs
This pair of antique Swedish leather club armchairs have to be one of the nicest examples of this sort of thing I’ve had. Not only are they great looking, but they are extremely comfortable too. The leather is naturally distressed & is a lovely warm colour. There are no splits or tears & they are very sturdy, plus very heavy. They are deep buttoned on the backs & all the upholstery underneath is fine, with plenty of support. You can feel the crisp horse hair underneath. I would say they date to around the 1880-90’s period, but they could be older. The feet are original & I believe they are stain birch. If I don’t sell them soon, I may even take them home.

Antique Deep Buttoned Leather Chesterfield Sofa
Top quality deep buttoned hand coloured leather chesterfield in great original condition & with loads of character. It’s antique Victorian style & dates from around the 1930’s period. This chesterfield is very comfortable & the upholstery is all good. There are no splits or holes to the leather. The leather has been professionally revived & hand polished. It’s a very heavy, solid item & it sits on turned flat bun feet. These quality chesterfields are becoming very hard to get hold of. I’ve just sold one & I have one more coming in very shortly, but then it could be 6 months before another turns up.

Antique Swedish Leather Chesterfield Sofa
Antique Swedish deep buttoned leather sofa in lovely original condition, dating from around the 1890-1910 period. The leather is original to this piece & there are no splits, tears, or holes. This sofa is very comfortable & has loads of character. You can feel the original innards underneath the leather. It sits on strong tapered legs & is a very heavy, sturdy piece of furniture.

They have deep buttoned backs & the leather is in excellent condition with no splits, tears, holes or patches. I would say they date to around the 1910 period & they have loads of character. It’s been a long time since I had a pair like these & people have been asking me for this type of thing, so I don’t think these will hang around for long.

Antique Military Campaign Chest of Drawers
Original antique Campaign chest of drawers in good condition. This chest was probably made in India in the mid-19th century, like many of these models & was made out of teak, although to me it looks like mahogany. It has the original brass corners, sunken military brass handles, turned bun feet & it comes apart into two sections for easy transportation. This chest has loads of character & is structurally sound. It’s what we call in the trade, a good honest piece of furniture. The second drawer down is the deepest.

Antique French Kingwood & Rosewood Marble Top Bombe Commode
This antique French marble top bombe commode is of the highest quality, in good original condition & dates from around the 1880-90’s period. It has the original rouge marble which looks like its had some professional repair & it’s all in one piece. The wood is mainly Kingwood & Rosewood, with wonderful floral marquetry all over. This marquetry is on all three drawers & the floral marquetry panels on the sides is stunning. The handles, escutcheons & mounts are also wonderful quality & are gilt bronze ormolu. Set of 8 Antique Mahogany Dining Chairs
Antique set of eight mahogany dining chairs including two carvers in good original condition & with very decorative backs. These chairs date to around the 1930’s period & they have just been French polished & the drop in seats re-upholstered in a cream fabric. The backs are finely carved & have the Prince of Wales Feathers carved in the middle. The legs are tapered with spade end feet & the cross stretchers joining them up not only look good, but help give them more strength & stability.

Antique Classic Victorian Mahogany Linen Press
Antique mid-Victorian mahogany linen press dating to around the 1860 period, in good condition. It has all the classic features of the Victorian period, with the round corners, arched panelled top doors, original sliding trays inside, original glass handle on the door, bun handles on the drawers & the plinth base. It also has a bold top cornice, which can lift off. The two main sections also lift apart. This press has just been restored & French polished, so everything works fine. The mahogany has a lovely grain, especially on the top doors. If needed, the sliding tray shelves can be taken out & a hanging bar put in, but one should always keep those trays, because these linen presses are always worth a lot more with them in.
