A stunning pair of antique Swedish satin birch Biedermeier stools. They were recently imported from Sweden, they date from around the 1850-1870 period.

They are of outstanding quality, with a fine and elegant design. They sit on beautifully shaped and slender sabre shaped legs, with lovely turned handles and the top edges. They would be perfect as window seats, at the end of a bed or in various settings around the home.

We have had them stripped and re-polished to a very high standard, and fully re-upholstered in a cream cotton fabric. The condition is excellent for their age.
