These Sutherland tables are very useful items, because they are so slim when folded up, so will store away easily. This one is solid mahogany & antique early Victorian. It's in excellent original condition, with a nice warm colour, good patina, plenty of character & the top has a lovely grain of wood. The legs & stretcher are beautifully turned & it has the original brass capped casters. When open this table will seat four people. I would date it to around the 1840's period.

This table is one of the better examples & has a lot of fine details. The table top is burr walnut with with some splendid inlaid patterns. Check the arial image of the top to see the lovely pattern of burr walnut. The two outside pedestals are solid walnut with wonderful turnings & fluting. They sit on carved cabriole legs with finials underneath & a cross stretcher joining. There are two swing out turned legs & all the legs have original porcelain casters.

Antique Regency style mahogany Pembroke drop leaf table with a satinwood cross banded top edge. It's in good condition throughout & is stable too. There's one long flame mahogany drawer with a brass handle at the front & the back is flame mahogany too. The drop flaps have strong hinged supports The the top is flat when open. This table sits on elegant turned fluted legs. I would date this piece to around the 1930-50's period.

This antique Regency Pembroke dining table is in wonderful original condition & of top quality. The top is solid Cuban mahogany, with a fabulous grain & unlike many of these Pembroke table, there are no splits or warps. This is a very heavy well made piece of furniture. It has two drop flaps & a long drawer in the middle. The top section sits on a strong turned column, that in turn sits on a shaped platform base with sabre legs & original brass feet & casters. Please enlarge all the images to appreciate the finer details. For instance, looks at the detail on the brass foot. This table is also a very good size when opened & because of the central legs, there is more room than normal for seating, as there are no legs in the corners to get in the way. The inside of the drawer is lined with something which we forgot to take off. I will take that off before this piece is delivered.
