Antique Swedish Kingwood display cabinet of exceptional quality & in the manner of Louis XVI, neoclassical in style. This cabinet is predominately Kingwood & Rosewood, with inlaid panels & some intricate marquetry. It has gilt bronze mounts, handles & feet. There are some lovely features too, like the drawer at the top & the pull down bottom flap revealing six slim drawers & more marquetry. There are two glass shelves inside the display section & it’s lined on the back with fabric. This display cabinet is in excellent condition & I would date it to around the 1930’s period.

Antique burr walnut display cabinet dating from around the 1920's period & in excellent condition, having just been polished. The display section is lined in a fabric which is still in good condition & has two glass shelves. The bottom section has two burr walnut panelled doors & plenty of storage inside. It is beautifully carved top & bottom, plus it has canted corners. This display cabinet is very high quality.

Antique Victorian figured walnut pier cabinet with some nice inlays & in good original condition. It has a ebonised top edge, a gilt metal beading & gilt metal appliqués top & bottom. The inside is lined & it sits on turned feet. These cabinets were used in Victorian times to put various trinkets in, but nowadays they are quite popular as small bookcases. This one dates from around the 1860-80's period.

Antique Mahogany Astral Glazed Display Cabinet£1,450.00 + VAT
This antique mahogany display cabinet could also be used as a bookcase, by changing the glass shelves to wood & we could arrange that quite easily. It's extremely fine quality & has some very intricate details. Please enlarge all the images to see the entire cabinet in detail. The two top edges are carved & the corners are carved all the way down to the claw & ball feet. It's also carved all along the base & even the astral-glazing which is a spectacular design has fine carvings too. There are three doors which are flame mahogany with locks. The inside is also polished & there are glass shelves, which like I mentioned could be used as a template to make mahogany shelves to hold books. This cabinet is in excellent condition & dates from around the 1910 period. It's one of the finest quality cabinets I've had & the attention to detail is amazing.

Antique French Ormolu Mounted Mahogany Display Cabinet£2,500.00 + VAT
Very impressive & large antique French display cabinet is excellent condition & of high quality throughout. The most striking feature of this cabinet are the gilt bronze mounts & feet. You need to enlarge all the images to see the fine details on the gilt fittings. The bottom door panels have stunning mounts on them, especially the middle one with a scene of birds among floral features. The base has well defined hairy paw feet in gilt metal. There are so many great features, I can't possibly mention them all. The glass in the middle door is bevelled & the two outside glass sections are bow shaped. The inside of this cabinet is also polished mahogany, with two thick glass shelves & a brass light fitting attached on the top. The outside is mahogany too, with flame mahogany panels below. There are gilt metal mounts everywhere & this is a heavy display cabinet. I would date this piece to around the 1920's period.

Impressive antique mahogany display cabinet in good original condition, with original colour & patina. The top cornice has a dental frieze with tear drop mouldings below. The astral glazing is of Gothic design & the shelves inside the cabinet are shaped. There is a working key & the glazed section sits on the original stand with chamfered legs. This cabinet is a very well constructed piece & you can see how well the back is panelled with solid timbers. I would date this cabinet to around the 1890's period.
