Small antique French marble top cabinet with many different woods involved. It's predominately mahogany & kingwood, however there are many other more exotic woods set into it in the form of inlays, parquetry & marquetry. This cabinet is all in good condition including the marble top. The gilt bronze mounts are very good quality & I particularly like the rams heads mounts on the tops. The floral marquetry panels have a great pattern too. This piece dates to around the 1920's period & is fine quality. Antique Inlaid Mahogany & Kingwood Server Console Table£1,250.00 + VAT
Very long antique mahogany & Kingwood console or server table, with an inverted serpentine shaped front. It's in excellent condition having just been polished & I would date it to around the 1930's period. This table is a very impressive piece of furniture & has many fine features. The table top is a beautifully patterned Kingwood with satinwood inlay & cross banding in mahogany. There are three drawers with grooved fronts & very detailed floral carving in the middle. The drawers all have baize lined partitions inside, probably meant for cutlery. There are inlaid panels above the front legs. The turned legs are finely carved on the tops & fluted in the middle. The sides of this table are also finely detailed.

Long solid mahogany antique Victorian bookcase cabinet in good original condition with loads of character & dating to around the 1880’s period. It’s a very solid looking item & is very well made. The two open sections have one adjustable shelf in each, with sharks tooth supports. There are four panelled doors below with another shelf in each section. This antique burr walnut four door sideboard has a wonderful shaped front, stunning veneers & exquisite carvings all over. The carvings on the doors are in the form of ribbons & bows, whilst there are more fine carvings on the top edges & legs. The burr walnut veneers are stunning & show lovely patterns all over. This piece is very practicable too, with plenty of storage inside the cupboards & a bank of drawers inside one of them. This sideboard is in excellent condition, having just been French polished & I would date it to around the 1920's period. All the cupboards have locks. The solid walnut shaped legs are also nicely shaped in keeping with the shape of the rest of this sideboard.

This cocktail drinks cabinet is extremely high quality & is a very impressive piece of furniture. It's antique French style, dating from around the 1930-50's period & is in excellent original condition. It's predominately kingwood, with other woods, plus many exotic woods within the stunning floral marquetry panels on the doors. All these different woods used give this piece a very colourful look. The use of many woods & the figuring within them is quite amazing, so please enlarge all the images to appreciate the detail. This cabinet also has many high quality gilt bronze mounts. The top section has a fabulous mirrored interior with one shelf & there are two drawers inside the bottom section which also has plenty of storage space.

Antique French Burr Walnut & Marquetry Cocktail Cabinet£950.00 + VAT
Antique French style cocktail drinks cabinet with stunning burr walnut door panels & intricate floral marquetry on the top doors. The sides are also burr walnut & there are other woods on this piece, like rosewood & many exotic woods in the marquetry. This cabinet is is excellent condition & I would date it to around the 1930-50’s period. The doors, drawers & the sides are all cross banded. There is also some fine carvings on the bottom front edge & on the shaped legs. The inside of the top section is lined with mirrors, plus it has a couple of shelves. There is also a light inside, which will need re-wiring for safety reasons. The bottom section has plenty of storage & would be useful for bottles, etc. This cabinet comes apart into two sections for easier transportation. The pattern the burr walnut gives of all over this drinks cabinet is wonderful.

Antique Burr Walnut Cabinet on Chest£950.00 + VAT
This antique burr walnut bow fronted cabinet on chest is a very useful item of furniture. It would have originally been made for use in the bedroom, but these days people are using this sort of thing for use in a living or dining room. It could be used for a small drinks cabinet or just general storage. This piece has some great features. The top section has cross banded cupboards, reeded canted corners & one shelf inside. There is a pull out brushing slide below that & four graduated drawers below, sitting on bracket feet. The cross banded drawers are finely dovetailed & have original brass handles, escutcheons & locks. The top drawer is lined with old baize, with divisions. The baize is a bit worn out & I think it needs to be all taken out or relined. This cabinet has a lovely mellow colour & is in good condition. It's just been French polished & dates from around the 1920's period.

Antique Chinoiserie & mahogany side cabinet with a serpentine shaped front. The Oriental decoration is all over the top & the front. It's of very high quality, with lovely colours & various scenes. There are plenty of other nice features, like the gold leaf shell carvings on the feet & other gold leaf decorations elsewhere. This cabinet has lots of character & dates from around the 1910-20's period. It's not only a great looking piece, but also a very useful item of furniture, with plenty of storage.

This antique cupboard on chest has some stunning flame mahogany veneers giving it a very striking pattern especially on the front & the top also has some interesting figuring. This piece is bow fronted, with a carved top edge, two top cupboards, three graduated drawers with brass handles & sits on shaped feet. It's in excellent condition, having just been French polished & dates from around the 1920's period. One interesting thing about this tallboy is that there are two secret drawers behind the lower drawer. This is shown in one of the images. I'm sure this cabinet was designed for the bedroom, but these days there are no rules.

Antique French marble top cabinet in kingwood with some very decorative gilt bronze mounts. It has one central panelled door & serpentine shaped sides. The marble top is original & in good condition too. There's one shelf inside, plus a lock & key for the door. I believe this cabinet dates to around the 1890-1910 period & it's in good overall condition with just a bit of natural ageing.

Antique Rosewood & Marble Grill Front Sideboard£1,500.00 + VAT
Antique marble top rosewood grill front sideboard is excellent condition & of wonderful quality. It has all the Regency influences with the Corinthian Columns, brass grills, gilt mounts & brass inlays. I would date this piece to around the 1920's period. The marble is in perfect condition & lifts off from the cabinet. The pleated fabric was there when we obtained it & is still in good condition. We just had this piece French polished. I think the shelves inside may have been replaced at some point, however it's still very smart inside & out. I think these cabinets are very useful, as they take up no more room than a console, but at the same time have loads of storage inside.
