A beautiful pair of antique Italian Florentine gilt wood side tables. They were made in Florence, Italy and they date from around the 1950’s.

They are beautifully made and are a very useful size to be used as occasional lamp tables in a lounge or as bedside tables. There are gorgeous details throughout, the tops have serpentine edges with an open storage space beneath, the stand on cabriole legs.

The condition is very good for their age, the gilt finish has a lovely patina and just the right amount of wear, with some small marks seen here and there. They are clean and sturdy, with no repairs.
