The four turned upright columns have all sorts of spiral twists & flutes. The legs too are turned & fluted. At first glance this looks like an original victorian piece, but it's only about 30 or 40 years old. It's in excellent condition, is structurally sound & has plenty of character.

Antique French brass & marble two tier table or stand. This is quite an unusual elegant piece of furniture & has lots of character. The four brass uprights have a king of spiral or barley twist design. There are brass finials on the tops & in the middle of the brass stretcher at the base. The marble is original to this stand & I like the colour. This is a well constructed piece & sturdy too. The brass is a bit aged in places, but I certainly wouldn't touch that, because it only adds to the look of this piece. I think it's early 20th century, maybe from the 1910 period.
