Antique Victorian mahogany adjustable piano stool with the original leather upholstery which is still in good condition for it's age & shows lovely character. The leather does show wear & natural ageing, but there are no holes or splits. This stool dates to around the 1860-80's period. The splayed legs are turned & fluted, plus they are joined by cross stretchers. The seat goes up & down with the help of a wooden screw thread. This is a very clever Victorian designed mechanism.
