A beautifully executed antique Dutch oil painting in a gilt wood frame, depicting a mother and baby, dating from around the 1860-1880 period.

It is a beautiful and touching subject, executed with great skill and it is signed by the artist, though we can’t quite make out the name. This was bought over by the previous owners family from the Netherlands.

It is in lovely condition, with only light age related surface wear and no major damage. It is framed in a gorgeous antique gilt wood frame of very high quality.
