An outstanding original antique framed oil painting by Reginald Edward Arnold (1853 – 1938) . The painting is titled : Bow Church, Cheapside, as that is the area of London that it depicts.

It is large, beautifully executed and has many fine details, depicting life in late Victorian / Edwardian England. This dates from around 1890-1910, it is in exceptional condition for its age.

It is mounted in a later gilt wood frame, the painting is oil on board. The artists signature is seen on the bottom right, the title of the painting on the bottom left.
