A stunning pair of antique French inlaid parquetry marble top bedside chests. They were made in France and date from around the 1900-1920 period.

The quality is fantastic, they have an elegant yet sturdy design. The wood is predominantly king wood, with inlaid geometric parquetry designs. There are high quality ormolu mounts and handles, each has a loose serpentine fronted marble top with gorgeous colouring.

We have had these recently re-polished to a very high standard, the condition is excellent. There is one incredibly minor chip to the back edge of one marble top, seen in the close up images but barely noticeable at all in real life.
