A beautiful and very well made antique burr walnut bookcase. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1920’s.

The quality is superb, this has stunning burr walnut grain patterns and a gorgeous mellow colour tone. It stands on a beautifully carved base with short cabriole legs that have acanthus leaf carving at the knees terminating in claw and ball feet. The astral glazed glass fronted doors have shell carving at the tops, and open to reveal adjustable shelving with plenty of storage space.

We have had this recently re-polished, the condition is excellent for its age.
