A large and very impressive antique Edwardian mahogany breakfront bookcase. This was made in England, it is in the Georgian revival style and it dates from around the 1900-1920 period.

It is of exceptional quality, with solid mahogany construction throughout and fantastic proportions, it contains lots of storage space. It sits on bracket feet with four panelled lower doors. There are four lovely astral glazed upper doors beneath a stepped cornice. The upper shelves are all adjustable, the inside is nicely ochred.

We have just had this re-polished, it is in very good condition for its age. There is just some light wear here and there and a nice patina, commensurate for age.

The top lifts off the bottom and this comes in two pieces for ease of transport. It is a very heavy and solid piece.
