A rare and very lovely antique set of antique Victorian brass library steps / ladder. They were made in England by Hoskins and Sewell Ltd, they date from the 1890-1900 period.
The design is wonderful and they are of excellent quality. The solid brass frame supports wooden steps that can be flipped up to store this almost completely flat.
We have given this a good clean, it is in excellent condition for its age, with just some minor wear and patina here and there.
