A large and impressive antique walnut chest on chest of drawers. This in the Georgian revival style, it was made in England and dates from around the 1950’s.

It is of superb quality and has a beautiful design, with double herringbone banded inlays on the drawer fronts. This is a useful size, it doesn’t take up too much floor space, yet contains lots of storage space. The drawers have wonderful brass handles and solid oak construction inside, the front corners of the top are canted and grooved. This sits on bracket feet and comes apart in two pieces for ease of transport.

We have had this re-polished, the condition is excellent for its age with just some minor wear beneath the polish in places.
