An exceptional pair of antique burr walnut Georgian style side chests. They were made in England, they date from around the 1950’s period.

They are of very high quality, they are beautifully made and have a lovely, practical design. The burr walnut grain patterns and colour tones are gorgeous, the tops have cross banded edges with inlaid double herringbone borders. They stand on bracket feet, the drawers have fine quality brass handles and nicely dovetailed joints.

They are a very useful size to be used as large bedside chests or as side chests around the home.

We have had them re-polished, the condition is excellent for their age.
