A stunning mantel clock in the classic antique French style. This was made in France & it dates from around the 1950’s period.

The quality is fabulous, it is beautifully constructed from kingwood & other various inlaid woods. This clock has canted corners & fine gilt metal mounts all over. At first glance, it looks like an 18th century clock, because of the shape & general look.

We have given this a good clean inside and out, it is in excellent condition for its age and is in good working order.

The original winding key comes with this; it chimes every quarter hour with the Westminster quarters. Each hour is marked with a full set of chimes for whichever hour of the day it is.
