A charming and very unusual Victorian wall mounting mirror, with a little built in shelf. Its carved from solid oak, and dates from around the 1860-80 period.
There is impressive carving throughout, with the standout feature being a wonderful eagle just below the shelf. The eagle even has its original glass eye intact.
This is in very good condition for its age, with just some minor wear here and there. There is an eyelet attached to the back, for mounting this on a wall.
This would be an eye catching and useful item anywhere in the home, particularly suited for an entry way or perhaps even lavatory decoration, to keep a watchful eye over proceedings.
