An elegant Neo-Classical style antique writing bureau in mahogany with gilt bronze mounts, dating from around the 1920’s period.

The quality is outstanding, with gorgeous flame mahogany grain patterns and an inset leather writing surface. The brass handles and pierced upper gallery are beautifully made, and this is a very useful size. There is a generous working space when the flap is pulled down, and lots of storage in the lower drawers which have tulip wood cross banded edges.

We have recently had this re-polished, it is in excellent condition for its age.
