A beautiful and quite unusual antique Edwardian leather top writing table in mahogany. This was made in England, it dates from around 1890-1900.

This is very well made and is a useful size, the oval top has an inset tooled green leather writing surface. There are also lovely satin wood inlays around the top edge, on the drawer front, and running down the legs. The legs are tapered with spade end feet, and are supported by a stretcher for extra strength. The back is also nicely finished, so this can be used as a free standing item.

We have recently had this re-polished, the condition is excellent for its age.
